CDART (Canadian Disaster Animal Response Team) is the emergency animal rescue division of Critteraid

CDART's mission is to provide emergency services for domestic animals in the event of a disaster. To this end, we train volunteers to provide shelter and rescue. We work closely with the Emergency Social Services, Provincial Emergency Programs and ministries and departments involved as well as with other animal welfare organizations.

At a local level, CDART volunteers will deploy for structural fires, landslides, gas leaks, etc.
