On this page we recognize the special people who are and have been important to Critteraid.
Every year, on the first weekend in April , we help celebrate the Okanagan-Fest- of-Ale.
Since 2004, Critteraid volunteers have partnered with CDART volunteers to staff the coatcheck and manage the Bratwurst and Pretzel
booth.
Heartfelt thanks to the Okanagan-Fest-of-Ale board of directors for allowing us this tremendous opportunity to
raise funds for Critteraid. It is such a bonus to also have so much fun doing it. Okanagan-Fest-of Ale has been
generous to Critteraid and we are proud to be part of such a great event and to be a recipient of their charitable
giving.
We sincerely thank Princeton Co-generation Corp. for their generous donation of
Eagle Valley wood pellets.
We use Eagle Valley wood pellets exclusively for cat litter at our cat sanctuary. It is dust free, hygienic and convenient. We recommend it for use in any home with cats.

The Emergency Social Services Association has co-funded the purchase of our EZ-UP Tent that we have already
found invaluable to us after only one year ! With their financial assistance, we were able to purchase a quality
shelter that we have used in a variety of weather! ESSA continues to support our CDART division by sending our
Coordinators to a number of British Columbia communities for training volunteers on emergency animal rescue
response. This year they have scheduled training in Kitimat, Richmond, Tofino and Victoria so far.

The Business Gives Back Charity Auction is an annual event held in November hosted by the Penticton Lakeside
Resort, Convention Centre & Casino and White Kennedy Chartered Accountants. The business community of Penticton
enjoys lunch and networking time before the Live Auction begins followed by two Silent Auctions. Critteraid
volunteers enjoy a variety of responsibilities at this prestigious local event which is the largest fundraiser in
an afternoon within the community and recognizes a number of local charities and children and families at
Christmas. This year, Critteraid received grant money for fire extinguishers, portable dog kennels and fence
panels. Thank-you Business Gives Back!

The Community Foundation of the South Okanagan has always recognized the special area of animal welfare and
disaster animal response. As a result, Critteraid has benefited over the years with grants for equipment and
supplies. Most recently, CFSO co-funded an EZ-UP Tent that Critteraid can use in a variety of fundraising projects
and our CDART team can use during emergencies and for training.
Thank you WalMart Canada for the countless donations of items that help us with our day-to-day operations.
